Thank you for all your hard work. At this time last year I was on the Masai Mara and I miss it terribly. It was such a thrill to me to see these magni***ent elephants in the wild. I grew up seeing ellies in zoos and in the RB circus in NYC (horrible). I took many pictures of the ellies at MM and each encounter was such a thrill. I remember our guide scouting for me because he knew I was so excited at each find. I wish right now I were back there. That was one of the happiest times of my life. There was nothing like sitting in a jeep quietly and listening to the feet of an elephant hit the ground as it walked along on its way. May your work help the elephants for our future generations. Thank you.

As a Wildlife filmmaker we spent many years filming in Africa. Orphan elephants in Kenya were often filmed at the "David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust", providing shelter to orphan elephants in Nairobi, Voi and Ithumba.
On ***gnment for "Friends of the Elephant" AVP produced various films to update the foster parents in the Netherlands and Belgium. Most recently Augustijn Video Productions released "Never Give Up" with an English spoken narrator. Are you interested in - exchanging links - to pay attention to the subject of orphan elephants in Kenya and/or - the activities of Dutch filmmakers Ko en Ria Augustijn in Kenya. More information: http://www.augustijnvideoproductions.nl/Engelse_versie/indexE.htm best regards, Ko Augustijn

I have never experienced a rush of emotion like that , sadness overwhelming need to help her also the need to do anything possible to help the *** creature I have uncounted it was like she let me into her old sole , this *** majestic loving creature was gentle I cannot comprehend why or how it is even possible to want to halm , inflicted pain , poke prod abuse an animal at all .........????????????????

The Elephants should be recognized as deserving rights, right for physical integrity, right for dignity, right not to be tortured and so on. The Charter is announcing fundamental principles and we should all sign it ! Altogether to save them before it is too late !

These important and intelligent beings need our intervention to remain as a species on this planet. All of us have to come together to decide that we refuse to allow our fellow sentient creatures to snuff out forever.I care very deeply and just want to get a chance to do SOMETHING. PLEASE HELP.

I'm so happy to be a signatory on your new charter.
When I found The Elephant Sanctuary while perusing a list of animal welfare charities, I fell in love with everything elephant. Since that time, there's been no looking back! 26 Entries in guestbook |
